    1. I don’t think he has ever done a song I didn’t absolutely love Evelyn. He sure as hell knows how to pluck the heart strings. 🙂

    1. I love that he is always relevant Denise and he does seem to go on and on. I also love that he is aging gracefully. I remember seeing the Police live in Toronto in the 80’s, and he has only grown as an artist, fearlessly and honestly.

  1. sting is great

I think for some time we can hold on to that question. but come the day this question disappear and we are left with a full heart and attachment, both are very hard, at times, to accept in a sense.

    1. I’ve been on both sides of this ‘why should I cry’ matter Guy and you are right, it is very hard at times to accept. Basically, love is wonderfully horrible but without it we would all be dead inside and life would have no meaning. Therefore, I embrace the wonderful horror of it all. lol Sting is great, a poet, composer, musician and damn fine to look at too! 😉

  2. ‘Soul Cages’ is one of my top five favorite albums and you have two of the best songs from it right here. I always sort of wondered if he considers himself more of a musician or a poet…

    1. Lisa, you have some damn fine musical taste my dear. 🙂 Soul Cages was wonderful and Dream of the Blue Turtles was worn out from my constant listening. You pose a fantastic question about what he considers himself to be. He was once an english teacher and I know he is excpetionally well read so perhaps he leans toward the bard end of things.

    1. I know Gabe, my craptop has the most shiteous sound which means I have to listen to everything with buds in my ears. I am happy you like Mr. Sumner and somehow I knew you would! 🙂
