Something to kick start my 2010 and hopefully yours too…

Robert Johnson can get inside me and gut my soul like no one else and seeing as I’m that type of person, why not have him hollow me out the first day of the new year.  Enjoy the best blues ever written, played and sung by the master.

    1. He was all that and more wasn’t he Lisa? I like that you like and that is exceptionally cool to start the new year. 🙂

    1. Thank you Dark Lord, for appreciating Robert Johnson and enjoying the sounds he left us as parting gifts for our souls. 🙂

  1. Come On in My Kitchen and Crossroad Blues will always be my favorites. Have you ever seen the 1980’s blues movie starting Ralph Machio? I think it’s called “Crossroads.” It features his story as a background to the plot. A little kitschy, sure, but it’s a great Southern gothic centered around the delta blues.

    1. I remember that movie Tel! yeah, it was kitschy but still good for blues lover. Mr. Johnson was the true father of rock and roll and he IS the blues. I’m so happy you like him too!
