Global warming NASA style anyone?   I’m just saying…

Where are the protesters?   Do you think you could recycle enough to offset this much pollution?  How many human beings would it take to leave a carbon footprint to match the size of one left by these fuel burning monsters?   While your government picks your pocket to pay for this, they blame you for polluting the environment and then ask you to use less.  Are we or are we not running out of fossil fuels?  If we are, then how about the waste of this precious commodity on sending up one of these ‘toys’.   Do you think they recycle their waste at NASA?  You know, shred their paper,  perhaps bring lunch in a reusable container, carpool with their fellow employess, turn the lights out in the offices not being used etc.  I bet they don’t.

  1. Uhm… I was mightily impressed on seeing this grand photo of a rocket launch, but then jolted down to reality by your potent words of protest!! 😀
Yes, in view of the “immediate” benefits to mankind, these rocket launches confer, I would say the pollution caused by them is irrational. And to think, we, the common people, are blamed for stuff such as global warming!!

    1. Dark Lord, you can now forget the guilt associated with global warming, as most of the cynics who knew it was bull are now vindicated via that revolutionary form of communication: email. lol Yep, all a load of hogwash to siphon money from our pockets. Larceny among scientists, who would have thought it possible? lol

  2. the protesters are busy
    reading poetry
    or commenting on one
    making money
    or losing it
    there is Oprah on t.v.
or a Big Brother intrigues to follow
    the kids are sick
    or annoying
    in any case
    what can we
    really do
    to change
    but look
    into ourselves
    and live
    our own life
    in truth

      1. Dare I be so bold Jessie, as to suggest that perhaps global warming is bullshit? Because it is my dear, and it’s one of the biggest and most successful mass scams ever! The only problem is that no one told mother nature and the weather isn’t cooperating with the lie. 😉

    1. Exactly D! YES! We can only do our own lives. Period. One person at a tiime. I’m a science loving person. I believe in the promise of science, but the space program gobbles up billions of dollars while millions of children die of hunger and disease on this planet. What is the use of water on mars if there is no food for a three year old on earth? Actually, it infuriates me, because I know what poverty feels like both as a child and an adult. I loved your comment, it was concise and had a nice bite. 🙂
