Do you recall

When we clasped hands

Across the ocean of agreement?

All well intentioned blindness

A two sided kindness

As we split again in two

We ran fast beside that river

Until it became our sea of change

You became you

I became me

With houses and cars

Families and scars

What’s your’s is mine

What’s mine is your’s

A stake to claim

From land to sea

Situations to circumstances

All for free

but it’s hit high noon

Prime time of our being

Bending backs against an invisible wind

Only we can feel

Our shadows grow long

We merge as the day is done

    1. Thank you sweet Anne! As things progress I’ll blog about the process and all the angst involved, because you know there will be angst. Isn’t there always with writers? 🙂 HUGS

    1. I agree, not all questions have answers, or at least any answers that are pertinent to the here and now. Living in the moment is a discipline I’ve yet to master.
