Strangers Here

Its a vibrant green monopoly

A design to save some air

For the heir

What heir?

You?

Me?

I stood quiet in the sullen dark

Where moments don’t exist

Watching it aloof

Remote

The bear ate the fish

The cougar ate the deer

Trees grew

Birds flew

Sun up

Sun down

Rain all around

It didn’t need

You

Me

It never did

It never will

Because here

We are strangers to this place

If not

Why is it such a mystery?

You see

Within that truth

One question

Is searching for  it’s answer

Where did we come from

Why are we here

And

More importantly

Just exactly

Who are we?

What are we?

We are not the bear

The fish

The cougar

The bird

The deer

The tree

How did we get here?

You

Me

  1. Hey Lisa,
Thanks for the compliments. 🙂 I was thinking about the storms you guys are having over there too. The truth is, we don’t control a damn thing. I’m on my way to your blog to take a look at our psychic connection.

  2. Funny..I read this right after the post I wrote this evening. I guess we were sort of thinking on the same wavelength, though you carried it much deeper.

I am also thinking about the tornado that struck a neighboring county a few days ago – just further proof that no matter what we do, mother nature always has the upper hand.

A very strong statement written in such a simple, eloquent way….very well written..
