Daily Quote

I felt, in light of current economic struggles worldwide that perhaps Mr. Dickens would have something wise and enlightening to share.  I was correct!

A person who can’t pay gets another person who can’t pay to guarantee that he can pay. Like a person with two wooden legs getting another person with two wooden legs to guarantee that he has got two natural legs. It doesn’t make either of them able to do a walking-match.

  1. Hi Anne! It’s fascinating how some things never change. We humans think we’ve made progress! ha! Thanks for coming by! :

    1. Yes, and one way or the other we will all survive this very tough time. Dicken’s quote displays just how cyclical life is in every respect and than human nature remains the same no matter the century. Thanks for stopping by! I’m in the midst of writing a short story about the doors and I’ll post it as soon as it’s finished and edited, hopefully this evening before bedtime. 🙂
